I live just outside Rockwood and have only been there once with my daughter who did not scream or rush these poor people. Treat them like you would any other person. So if you ever run into them anywhere, act normally, don’t try to give them your picture or phone number, don’t yell out “I love you” and don’t grab at them. Just remember: the Jonas Brothers are people, just like you and I…the only difference is that they can sing and act much better than we can. I feel bad for the true fans who never got a chance to meet the kids making this film because they are absolutely wonderful people. Yes, I know they were excited but they should have had parents with them to make them listen. The screaming, pushing girls ruined it for everyone. Security has told these kids from Day 1 to “Stand back, don’t scream, stay calm and you can get a picture”, etc. who were nearly trampled by those who showed up towards the end. Yesterday’s antics have now ruined it for everyone, so no sense in bothering to stand out on the street anymore people. Being quiet includes not singing along while they sing. If they had stayed calm and stood behind the pylons, they would have been treated to a few songs and could have taken pictures. The kids who didn’t get to see them have no one to blame but themselves, if they were in the group that charged at Alyson’s van. Security worked their butts off telling the kids this but none of them listened.
Yesterday’s plan was to have the boys come out and sing…all the crowd had to do was stay behind the pylons. If you really had to have pictures of the set, then you should have kept them to yourself and not posted them on the internet. Had that request been followed then more fans could have met the boys. All the production company asked from the beginning was that no pictures of the set be taken. Once these pictures were posted and word got out, everything changed. The reason for all the extra security and the park now being closed for day use is because of the pictures posted on this website.

That’s pretty much clear proof this was indeed the Camp Rock 2 set, or possibly something connected to the new TV series.Įither way, here are a few photos from the set.

Looking up their details, Hoen is the director for an upcoming TV series called Jonas, starring the brothers, and Lafferty was the producer for 2008’s Camp Rock.
The first connection is that the Ontario Media Development Corporation has a production named “Coin Flip” on record with director Paul Hoen and producer Kevin Lafferty. Looking around though, Aisha noticed that there were canoes that had been painted to say “Camp Rock”, so it didn’t take much to connect the dots.

When we asked someone what they were filming they said it was a movie called “Coin Flip”. It looked like most of the set had already been built and they were doing set dressing and random work to make it look right. Rockwood has a nice big open field leading down to the beach, but on Friday there were seven or eight rustic cabins that had been built along a path leading down to a fire pit area. That’s when I realized we were walking onto a set-in-the-making. They were putting up a tent near the parking lot, and I they had a lot of power cables running down to the beach. On Friday I was at Rockwood Conservation Area near Guelph with Aisha and we noticed that a big event was in the works. As some of you can probably guess, I don’t usually follow the band’s activities, but I stumbled onto the set for their new TV movie, Camp Rock 2, so I thought I owed you some details. Okay, Jonas Brothers fans, I have a rare update for you.
